Barber License
Join our Hybrid Class A Barber License program and become a professional. Our program allows you to gain the knowledge and hands on experience that you need in order to take the beauty industry. Cosmetology operator license consist of 1,000 hours of instruction at a licensed school. Our program allows for 50% online hours which allows for flexibility in learning**.**
Class A Barber license affords endless career opportunities. Students enrolled in Beautellionaire Academy will be issued a student permit while in training.
Our Academy is licensed and approved by the state of Texas TDLR. This advanced program includes a high-level curriculum that will prepare you to perform and meet the industry’s standards with current skills and training.
Students will be obtaining a license in the state of Texas and are required to take both a written and practical state board exam. When creating your schedule as a student you must clock a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Our program offers monthly guest speakers and field trips to enhance your education and online hours
Students will learn the following:
- Haircutting and styling
- Scissor work/clipper cutting and fading techniques
- Shaving and facial services
- Straight razor techniques and shaving
- Beard and mustache trimming, shaping, and maintenance
- Face and neck massages, basic facials and skin treatments
- Hair coloring/perms
- Basic anatomy skin and hair physiology and nail structure
- Basic chemistry and chemical treatments/products
- Theory of electricity and light therapy
- Shop management and law
- Professional ethics, customer service and retail marketing
- Barbershop management, hygiene and personal grooming
